“Female Loire is not a feminist club and does not aim to compete with the existing networks of women entrepreneurs in the Loire,” Annie de Sico, co-founder of the group with Alexandra Ribeiro-Costudio, Business Director explains in Human Resources, Training, Employment and International Mobility.
Exempted from their electoral mandate, within the Municipal Council of Saint-Priest-en-Jarez for the first time, member of the Auvergne Youth Ambassadors Rhône-Alpes, member of Saint-Étienne of the second vice-president of the youth ambassadorial district, the founders wished “Gathering women who implement projects in the territory, to put them in a network and exchange experiences.”

So far, the Loire Collective has received five applications. Each of the participating cities will receive their own files, and the consulates relay the procedure. A total of ten projects will be selected and submitted to a selection committee made up of seven people from the worlds of business, culture, sports, politics and journalism.
To apply (until the end of April), the project must have the following criteria: to be innovative, concrete, in the form of a prototype or realization, interaction at the European level and the involvement of a woman.
The women’s collective La Loire au is made up of five people with co-founders: Manon Tome and Eva Tosha, student interns in Applied Foreign Languages (English, Portuguese and Spanish) at Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne and Pascal Coblon, graphic designer and web designer. Two new interns from Jean Monnet University will soon join the team. The projects selected by the participants will be presented during the conference to be held in Oeiras on September 16, 2022. A library of unselected projects will be available for consultation. For example, the rural family home in the Loire trains farriers, and in this context it exchanges with a double chassis in Slovenia. The project can also be of an industrial nature as long as it has a European dimension.
