The PAUC Just announced a new appointment in Person Diogo Silva. The Portuguese right-back arrives in Provence from Porto for the 2022-23 season. At the age of 24, Silva has always been considered one of the great hopes of Portuguese handball, even if he has had little difficulty asserting that stature. He trained in Porto and loaned in particular a season to Selge in 2019-2020 to strengthen in Europe, and then returned to his club for life, but without imposing himself at all. Thus, this transfer is an opportunity for him to show all his talent in 40×20 Starligue.
Diogo Silva comes in to replace Miki Braslor, who has left for Constanta in Romania, and will accompany Icelandic Christian Oren Kriszmagon on the post. The Portuguese player was delighted with this signature: “I’m really happy for this opportunity, Aix is a great club and I can’t wait to get started! It is also a pleasure to meet our fans at the Arena du Pays d’Aix. We’ll need your energy to keep writing history!“
This is the sixth recruit from Aix in the off-season, after Qatar’s Youssef Ben Ali (FC Barcelona, Axis), Lithuanian Gerdas Paparskas (Chamberi, left-back), Spain’s Tomas Moreira (Logronio, Axis), Xavier. Labigang (Besançon, left wing) and Adrien Virgili (Valence, pivot).
