While LOSC has officially sold Sven Putman to Newcastle for at least €40m, the club must now find a new defender.

Many names were traded, but in the end it will be the unknown young man who will land especially the young Alexsandro, if we believe the Portuguese daily in Pula.

The latter is currently playing for Grupo Desportivo de Chaves, who finished third in Portugal’s D2 this season and who moved up to Liga Sagres after their play-off win against Moreirense.

At the age of 22 he should settle down with the Mastiff for €2 million excluding bonus or percentage on resale.

Note that Getafe, Cadiz and Almeria were interested in his services, and so was Vitoria Guimarães who had already tried his luck this winter.
