An elderly cat who has been missing for two years started meowing when she recognized the scent of her owners who came to pick her up.
Alison and Dean Laing from England lost their beloved cat, Kizzy, who is now 25 years old, in 2021.
Alison and Dean are deeply affected by Kizzy’s disappearance.
Since the animal was so old, they never expected to find it, according to the Daily Mail.
But the cat lived for two years without a home and without care.
A citizen picked her up a short time ago and then took her to the vet for a checkup.
Animals Lost and Found in Kent have launched an appeal to find their owners.
It was then that Alison realized that she had recognized her cat, even though it had been severely weakened.
After two years apart, the couple managed to find their beloved feline on Monday.
The cat recognized Din Ling’s scent when he entered the room, and started meowing.
“It’s really cool to see her again, but what are the chances?” He wanted to emphasize Alizon.
She added, “She now relaxes with us and gets lots of hugs and treats.”
