Jocelyn Hebert's Expensive Relaunch

Saturday ended with the SCCC drivers. From Bécancour, Jocelyn “Le Duc” Hibbert was in fourth place before the final restart, before dropping to sixth.

After being knocked out in the first round yesterday, Jack Polito started the action strong this evening. For his part, Doc Hebert quickly climbed to second place.

Morning event winner Justin Di Benedetto had to retire this time on lap four. On lap eleven, Richard Bocchi came through to take second place behind Hibbert, who held on to his place ahead of Ron Tomlinson and Anthony Martella.

Unable to keep up with the pace, Hibbert dropped to fourth on the following lap, after a good manoeuvre by Tomlinson. Moreover, the latter would not stop there as he then pushed Boakye in the fifteenth lap.

On lap 17, a racing incident took place that sent everyone back to the peloton behind the safety car. Polito was ahead of Tomlinson, Martella and Hibbert.

Early in the second half, Martella suffered a puncture, dropping Tomlinson to second, then Jonathan Young to third. Disaster for Doc Hébert who found himself in sixth place, with little time left on the clock. Up front, Polito finally beat Tomlinson and Young.
