Jose Mourinho, the current coach of Roma, is considered the favorite to take over as coach of the Portugal national team, but this option is not available to all fans. In fact, some berate him for his overly defensive style.
However, one option seems to appeal to the majority of Portugal fans. This is the path that leads to Zinedine Zidane. The former Real Madrid player, who was one of the coaches who knew how to get the most out of Cristiano Ronaldo, is the dream of Seleção’s supporters.
In several comments, mainly in Portuguese, fans made it clear that Zidane’s arrival would be exceptional. Although they’d like it, these fans know it’s going to be tough. At the moment, this is just a wish of the fans, and the Portuguese Federation has not taken any steps to try to convince Zizou.
