Heat wave in Europe: a strong explosion of 47 degrees Celsius will bake France as Britain prepares for extreme heat – MAPS |  time

Long-term forecasts suggest that unprecedented heat may erupt across the UK in the wake of the continental heat wave. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a warning of rising temperatures for the coming days. Long-range weather computers have indicated that temperatures in London could reach 43 degrees Celsius.

Forecasters issued a Level 3 health watch through Friday, July 15.

Officials noted the health effects of heat.

Experts warned parents not to let children run in the sun and to wear light clothing.

Record heat may hit the UK next weekend.

“In the short term, many can expect temperatures in the 20s and 20s over the weekend and then into the 30s early next week.

“A large part of next week will remain warm throughout this time of year, as well as dry and sunny in many areas.”

Dr Agostinho Souza, Head of Extreme Events and Health Protection at the UK’s Health Security Agency, said: “We want everyone to enjoy the warm weather when it arrives.

“But also check with your vulnerable family, friends and neighbors to make sure they are prepared for the hot conditions ahead.

High temperatures are expected for a long time.

“Be sure to follow our simple health tips for beating the heat, such as covering windows exposed to direct sunlight and making sure refrigerators, freezers and fans are working properly.”
