Establishment of the Moroccan-Portuguese Economic Council
The second edition of the Morocco-Portugal Business Forum kicked off Monday in Casablanca, with the presence of entrepreneurs from the two countries. This two-day event will be an opportunity to participate in plenary sessions and thematic workshops, with a special focus on renewable energies and energy efficiency.

At the initiative of the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (AICEP), in coordination with the Portuguese Embassy in Rabat, and in partnership with the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), the second edition of the Moroccan-Portuguese Forum is developed under the slogan “Partnership for a green and technological future”.

Besides the Moroccan-Portuguese Business Forum, a cooperation agreement was signed on the establishment of the Moroccan-Portuguese Economic Council (CEMP) between the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises and the Confederation of Portuguese Enterprises (CIP), with the aim of giving a new impetus to economic relations between the two countries. the two countries.

Under the aforementioned agreement, the parties concerned decided to raise the level of cooperation towards an advanced economic partnership with the aim of encouraging mutually beneficial joint development in the service of the population, enhancing cooperation and diversifying trade, as well as doubling. Investments and implementation of restructuring projects in both countries.

In addition, Portugal will be the guest of honor at the Elect Expo, EneR Event and Tronica Expo, which will take place from November 24-27 at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center in El Jadida.
