The 27-year-old may not be the youngest footballer on the planet, and while he’s trying to create chances for his team, he ends up playing many loose balls. But there is no denying the fact that he is one of the most creative footballers on the planet.
Fernandez is said to be having a disappointing season by his own standards. But he scored nine goals and 14 assists in 37 games in all competitions this year. He provided seven assists in the Champions League, the record for any player since the start of the season.
#4 Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United).
Cristiano Ronaldo has given many great performances for Manchester United this season. He was particularly impressive during the group stages of the Champions League. Ronaldo scored six goals in the group stage, as Manchester United finished top of Group F and advanced to the playoffs.
But the 37-year-old is also suffering from a lot of slack in the current campaign. Ronaldo’s lack of goals had a negative impact on the Red Devils, as the veteran striker struggled to help his team through a difficult period.
