Portugal is currently hosting the second United Nations Conference on Oceans. An important topic for Polynesia.

Over the course of the week, 12,000 professionals and political representatives, including 15 heads of state and government, gathered there.

Among them is a Polynesian delegation headed by Environment Minister Hirimuana Mamamatuayahutapu.

The aim is to develop the best strategies with other countries to conserve marine resources. The actions taken by Polynesia challenge the participants.
