The summer season is in full swing in the cosmopolitan capital of Kasole, and the Inter-Municipal Tourism Office has been working hard since the beginning of summer.
The seasonal workers are there so that they can welcome the tourists in the best conditions and help them discover the most beautiful places in the city and in Lauragues. From the Moulin du Cugarel to the doorstep of Naurouze via the collegiate church of St Michel and the Presidential Museum, there is something for everyone. Not to forget the Canal du Midi and our wonderful large pool. Odell is also on deck in the harbor chief’s office to monitor the port and river tourists.
In this summer’s atmosphere, the Tourism Office has launched the summer appetizers since Sunday, July 10. The concept is simple, every Sunday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Tourists are welcome to join the interior of the Tourist Office to share a moment of symbiosis around local products. Of course, before you can grab an aperitif, a small movie is broadcast promoting the area to the tourists in attendance, and all good tour guides, maps and addresses are also included. Every week, a merchant comes from town to present his products and offer a free tasting of local produce to the public.
The first aperitif started with Christophe Hernandez from the restaurant “Chez Christophe” who came to introduce our tourists to the Charcuterie that holds all the secrets, wines and sweet drinks of local origin. A season that kicks off with flair and vitality that continues until the end of August.
So every Sunday gather at the Inter-Municipal Tourist Office to taste good products specially selected for the presentation of our territory.
