Canada condemns North Korean missile launch

Hours after North Korea launched an ICBM, Canada condemned the actions of Pyongyang, which has violated its moratorium on long-range missile tests it has conducted since 2017.

“We urge North Korea to respond to repeated offers to resume negotiations, particularly with the United States, and to embark on the path of dialogue, stability and prosperity for all the peoples of the Indo-Pacific region,” Global Affairs Canada said in a statement. Thursday statement.
