Unveiled in August 2022, Atlas Fallen sparked players’ interest in its world imaginary In addition to the ability to play solo and co-op. Developed by Deck 13 studio, it was supposed to be released in May, but has been delayed for several months.
See you in August
Via a message posted on Twitter, the studio has already announced that the title will be delayed back in August. The reasons for this postponement are, often times, that teams need more time to improve their game.
Here’s the message to players, along with the new release date:
Thank you for the tremendous support we’ve received so far for Atlas Fallen! From your rave reviews on our videos and in person at PAX EAST to positive reviews from critics, we are grateful and honored to see you excited about playing our game.
Our goal has always been to create an unforgettable A-RPG experience in a unique environment, with exciting gameplay and the option to play seamless co-op with a friend. We’d like to give the game more time, which will allow us to deliver the best possible version of Atlas Fallen.
To do this, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the global launch of Atlas Fallen to August 10, 2023. We apologize for this disappointing news.
We’ll be back in early summer to share updates to the game, including new gameplay footage and a first look at co-op play. We look forward to bringing you a wonderful experience in the lands of the Atlas Desert this summer.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make our way to the finish line, Deck 13 and Focus Entertainment.
Atlas Fallen is still planned for Xbox Series X| S, PS5 and PC, but now it will be released on August 10, 2023. The studio is already giving us a date this summer to discover new gameplay of this super dynamic action-RPG with lavish environments.
