Artificial intelligence company Incepto expands in Europe

The company said in a statement on Monday that it had raised 27 million euros to accelerate its growth in Europe.

Founded in 2018, Incepto offers a technology platform that allows doctors and hospitals to access AI-based applications, aimed at improving the quality of diagnosis, for example automatic image analysis.

The roundtable is chaired by LBO France, with participation by Wille Finance and AXA Venture Partners, Bpifrance’s Patient Autonome Fund and venture capital firm Karista.

Four new subsidiaries

These funds will enable the startup to expand into Europe, notably through four new subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Today Incepto works with more than 150 radiology clients and sites in France and elsewhere in Europe, including about two dozen CHS and CHUs (AP-HP, Grenoble, Montpellier, Nancy, Poitiers), recalls in its press release.

In 2019, the company has already raised €5.6 million from Axa Ventures Partners, Bpifrance and private investors. It has set itself the goal of going from 100,000 patients per month currently treated to 1 million patients per month in Europe by 2024.
