The latter has a 1.1-inch AMOLED display, for displaying information and color notifications, but also for navigating the menus. It has 11 exercise modes, tracks your heart rate, and automatically detects walking and running. You can also count on an autonomy of up to 14 days, and the Mi Smart Band 5 is 5 ATM water resistant: so it is not afraid of showers or swimming pools.
