All new AI features…

It's no surprise that during last week's Galaxy Unpacked in Paris, Samsung equipped its new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, with a number of AI features that set them apart from their predecessors.

Galaxy AI features to improve productivity

The best AI features are those that help with everyday tasks, and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is packed with them. The Notes Assistant in the Samsung Notes app lets you automatically translate, summarize, and even format your notes. Plus, PDFs can be translated in the Notes app.

The compose feature in Samsung Keyboard automatically generates suggested text for emails, and in social media apps it can also produce text that uses the tone used in previous posts.

You can create shortcuts to these features for the S Pen.

To help you communicate better in different languages, Samsung has improved the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s Instant Translator feature with a new Conversation Mode. It allows both conversation participants to see real-time translations on the Main and Cover Screens.

Creativity Tools for the Age of AI

A good camera is only part of a successful photo. Knowing how to take a good photo is just as important. Samsung’s new AI features help take the guesswork out of taking photos by automatically handling composition, color grading, and more.

For example, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 features an AI-powered ProVisual Engine that analyzes the subject and optimizes colors and sharpness. Portrait Studio lets you create different portrait styles. Finally, Instant Slow-motion can slow down your video by automatically creating extra frames.

Google Gemini Integration

Samsung has integrated the Gemini app into the Galaxy Z series to offer an AI-based assistant that can be accessed by swiping the corner of the screen or simply saying, “Hey, Google.”

Gemini helps you write an email or send a text message, and can answer specific questions about the text or images that appear on the screen. We also find the “circle to search” function that allows you to launch a query from an element in the image that you circle with your finger.
