After being vandalized, the Portuguese ASL club in Rouen appeals for generosity

Football club buildings vandalized twice in less than 48 hours. Roanne's Portuguese ASL will launch an online prize pool.

They are disappointed. On their Facebook page, the Portuguese ASL team Roanne shared the sad scene they experienced in the middle of the week.

2 jobs in 48 hours

On Wednesday, September 11, a window and door to the club building were smashed. “We were already in shock from this situation,” they wrote. But the worst was yet to come.

On Friday, September 13, they noticed that the site had been damaged again. It had been burned. “The damage is extensive.” The photos posted with the post attest to the facts. The toilet was broken. The fixture was damaged. The floor was charred.

“Help us keep our club alive”

Faced with this situation, the club has appealed for the generosity of the Ruana family. “We will need a wave of solidarity to clean up and restore our club once the assessment is completed, and we will also open a Lecce Fund (see below) to help us overcome this ordeal and allow our club to continue to exist, but also everything that insurance will not cover.”

For the time being, the building will remain closed and no reception will be possible. “Help us keep our club alive.”
