This roundtable proposes an analysis of the relationship between archive, revolution and aesthetic work in the case of still and moving images produced in the context of the national liberation and independence struggles of Mozambique and Angola. This relationship often manifests as a tension between documentary and fiction where editing plays a crucial role.
