During the past hours, Al Hilal Club spoke about the injury that Portuguese international Ruben Neves suffered recently.
A setback for Ruben Neves. A strong player in the Al Hilal team, led by his compatriot Jorge Jesus, the Portuguese international will have to take a break after suffering a recent knee injury.
According to a press release published by the Saudi club in recent hours, the former Wolverhampton player will have to stay away from the field for a period ranging between three to four weeks.

Ruben Neves will miss the Portuguese's next group?
This absence comes as a clear setback for the 27-year-old player, who imposed himself as an undisputed starter in Al Hilal’s ranks. If the matter harms his club, the injury suffered by Ruben Neves will also harm his presence on the next Seleção list, which will be revealed by Portuguese coach Roberto Martinez at the beginning of next November.
In fact, the former Wolves player is supposed to be out of Portugal's next two UEFA Nations League matches. As a reminder, the Seleção will face Poland and Croatia respectively, hoping to confirm its first place in Group A and qualify for the rest of the competition.
Opportunity for other foreigners?
It is therefore very likely that without Ruben Neves Portugal will face their next opponents. A sore absence for Roberto Martinez, who has made the 27-year-old one of the most used midfielders in his rotations. If not an undisputed starter for the Seleção, the Santa Maria da Feira native has featured in seven of the Portuguese national team's last eight matches, demonstrating the confidence placed in the coach.
The very likely absence of Ruben Neves within the Portuguese squad will therefore open up a selection spot for other players intent on taking advantage of it. This is particularly the case for youngster Joao Neves, who did not have a single minute to speak during the recent international gathering. The scorer of 7 goals this season with Besiktas, Gedson Fernandes could exploit this vacant place in the Portuguese group to find the last one he has not known for more than six years.
