Castelnaudary. A fall meal with Portuguese accents

The Suburban Supporters Association just met for a fall meal at the home of Mimi Artigue, the event’s senior organizer. This time there’s no squash soup, but a family recipe with a Portuguese accent: chicken cooked in carapudin. Jonathan, Mimi’s granddaughter’s companion who had just opened “O Frango,” was officiating. More than 60 people, volunteers and friends gathered, and were always in a state of joy and good humour.

A way to extend the fun times spent for several months preparing a float made for the cassoulet festival. Indeed, the association’s 22nd participation, which this year highlighted the butterfly!

A giant butterfly with sparkling colors that you can’t miss applauding.

Mimi Artigue added: “It is an opportunity to breathe new life into the neighborhood and make new people want to join us in creating the next float. I think it was the most beautiful evening we have organised, it felt like a summer camp with the children having fun and laughing the whole time!”

A great example of solidarity and camaraderie between neighbors and friends who together move mountains.
