like every week, PSG.FR LTDPSG has found a former player who passed through the PSG training center. He trained in Paris Saint-Germain, and today in Famalicao (D1 / Por), Dylan Batupensica He recalls his current events and recalls his Parisian years.

Dylan, you left PSG in 2017. How do you see his development?

“It’s our home region, so I was a supporter even before I played there for the youth. Even if I play today for another club, it doesn’t stop me from always supporting PSG! I’ve played there for 13 years and it doesn’t fade like that. I learned everything there.” All my football memories live on, it’s with this club! When Rouge et Bleu plays in the Champions League, I’m completely behind the team. For every goal I scream like I’m on the field! The club has changed and I don’t know the players who play there anymore. Joining the professional group this season, this is a testament to the good work that has been done with Titis.”

What are your best moments at Rouge et Bleu?

I will first mention our victory in the International Al Kass Cup in Qatar in 2012, during the first edition, which was won by Jill 95-96. I’m also thinking about our journey in the UEFA Youth League during the 2013-2014 season. It was the first edition of this competition. Moreover, I also missed a game in the Gambardella Cup at the same time that the team was eliminated. I have so many memories in my head! I kept in touch with my teammates at the time. When I remember my years at the training center, the good atmosphere on and off the field is what I remember mainly. We had a very uniform group. I remember all the details, I could make a movie out of it! »

You have been in the professional ring since 2017. Has your relationship with football improved?

“We learn every day from everyone, whether you are 20 or 30 years old. From the moment we take over our official duties under different coaches, we inevitably develop our football culture and we have to adapt to different schemes and processes. Development at a professional level is completely different from Playing in the academy. In addition, if I had to go back, I would work more, because the level between professionals and frankly is very high. In Paris Saint-Germain we had the opportunity to develop in the best teams every year. Unconsciously, we were definitely not at the limit of our abilities. A lot of times we win our matches straight out of the tunnel! We felt like the opposing team was afraid of us. Without being forced, we sometimes won our games in an artistic way. We never learned to control them. When I arrived in Antwerp in 2017, I was directly allied with Anderlecht (tie 0-0) nor Gantois (win 1-0). I’ve never defended this much before in my life! In PSG we learned to keep the ball well, dictate the game, but in the pros, it changes all the time! One hit we get, One hit we control it.My love for football hasn’t changed.Ma I enjoy training more than ever. So yeah, sometimes I get upset, when I’m having a hard time. But once the tapes are on, I forget and go again! »

After four years spent in Belgium at Royal Antwerp, I joined Famalicao in the Portuguese First Division last summer. How is your season?

“I thought I had toured the Belgian championship and wanted to experience a new adventure. I will never forget Antwerp, because I took my first steps with the pros there, discovered the European Cup there and won my first title there (note: Belgium Cup 2020). I chose the Portuguese championship because it was always a point A real launch for many players. The teams that top the list honestly have nothing to envy the best French teams. Like mine, I had a complicated start to the season, because I had two injuries that kept me off the field for several months. Once I was able to find my level, I really made my mark from During the match sequence (note: 16 matches and 1 goal, all competitions combined).During our relegation, the team did well in 2022 (note: 12th place so far).We are aiming for sixth place which could be European, according to the Cup winner Portugal. In terms of playing, there are a lot of good technicians because there are a lot of Brazilian and Spanish players. The pace of the matches is often very intense. Thanks to my training at PSG, I feel that I have more developed tactical thinking than the vast majority of players. players. In all humility, I try to share my experience with my teammates. »

“First of all to remain humble. Whether it is now or now, when you wear the red and blue shirt, you will feel like you are among the best. Above all, the upcoming upcoming match should not be taken lightly. With each passing round, the level goes up (note: Dylan played 11 matches in the UEFA Youth League). The next match against Salzburg will not be easy, because they are a real brand team in terms of training. It is a reference at the European level. It will be necessary to work as a team, while remaining calm. Titis will have to play without pressure. Let them enjoy living such moments, without regretting anything because not all of them will be sure that they can play such a competition again in the future. They should seize their chance! »
