“Due to the deterioration of the security situation caused by the deployment of Russian forces on the border with Ukraine, we will transfer our operations to a temporary office in Lviv, and temporarily suspend activities at our embassy in Kiev. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that Canada and Western countries are prepared to impose “heavy costs” if Russia goes ahead with its invasion of Ukraine.
